Alvord is the Administrative Director of the Executive Leadership Program for Educators at Harvard University, a multi-year collaborative initiative of the Harvard Business School, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government to help urban and high need public school districts and state departments of education bring high quality teaching and learning to scale. She holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. Ms. Alvord lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.Joan Balaban has a private psychotherapy and coaching practice in Canton, MA. She has a Master's degree in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work and is currently working on a post-graduate certificate in Executive Coaching. Ms. Balaban lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her husband and two children. Laura Chasin, is the Founder and Board Chair of the Public Conversations Project, Inc. in Watertown, Massachusetts. She holds a Masters Degree in Political Science from Harvard University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Simmons College. Ms. Chasin lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mónica D. Fernández-Castro is the Regional Clinical Director at the Massachusetts Department of Social Services - Boston. She is originally from Colombia where she was trained as an attorney specializing in Family Law; she has lived in the U.S. since 1987. She earned a Masters in Social Work from Boston University and is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW). Ms. Fernández-Castro lives in Dedham, Massachusetts. J. David Gibbs is the Executive Director of The Family Institute of Cambridge, Inc. in Watertown, Massachusetts, and holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University. Mr. Gibbs lives in Somerville, Massachusetts. Paul Kunin, CPA, operates an organizational consulting and recruiting practice in Boston. He received an MBA from Northeastern University and a Masters of Theological Studies from Boston University. Paul lives in Brookline, MA. Shaari Neretin is an adjunct professor in the Graduate Program of Counseling and Psychology at Lesley University and has an independent clinical practice in Brookline, MA. Ms. Neretin earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Smith College and is a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Ms. Neretin lives in Boston, Massachusetts. Bonny Saulnier is Vice President for Family Based Services and Family Networks at Wayside Youth & Family Support Network and a former foster parent for the Department of Social Services. She holds degrees from Brandeis University and the University of Massachusetts and lives in Arlington, Massachusetts. StaffExecutive Director: J. David Gibbs, JDAdministrative Assistant Dan O'Rourke is the Administrative Assistant at the Family Institute of Cambridge. He is a musician, author, and artist, and runs a small "in-home" studio in Brighton, Massachusetts, specializing in audio recording and graphic design. |
