Directions to FIC
By MBTA: Buses go to the corner of Mt. Auburn and Arlington Sts. Take Bus #71 from Harvard or Watertown Sqs. Turn onto Arlington Street at the Mobil and Premier gas stations. Immediately bear to the left at the fork onto Grove St. Take the second right onto Kondazian St. For MBTA info call (617) 222-3200.

From the Mass Pike (I-90): Take Exit 17. If traveling from Boston, bear right at the top of the ramp onto Galen St. If traveling East, bear left over the Pike, and go straight onto Galen St. Proceed 3/4 of a mile across the Charles River to Watertown Square. At Watertown Square, cross the intersection, bearing slightly left onto Mt. Auburn St. (Rt. 16 East). Continue on Mt. Auburn St. for 1.5 miles. Turn right at Arlington St. at the Mobil and Premier gas stations. Immediately bear to the left at the fork onto Grove St. Take the second right onto Kondazian St.

From the North via Rts. 128/95 & Rt. 2: Take Rt. 2 East to Alewife Brook Pkwy. (Rt. 16 West). Follow signs for Rt. 16. Turn right at Huron Ave., left at Aberdeen Ave. and right again at Mt. Auburn St. At the intersection just past Star Market on your right, bear left to stay on Mt. Auburn St. (you are still on Rt. 16 West). Then turn left on Arlington St. at the Mobil and Premier gas stations. Immediately bear left at the fork onto Grove St. Take the second right onto Kondazian St.

From the South via Rt. 128/95: Take exit 26 onto Rt. 20 East. Follow Rt. 20 through Waltham to Watertown Square. Turn left onto Mt. Auburn St. (Rt. 16 East). Continue on Mt. Auburn St. for 1.5 miles. Turn right at Arlington St. Immediately bear to the left at the fork onto Grove St. Take the second right onto Kondazian St.

From Harvard Square: Take Mt. Auburn St. West, bear left at the intersection just past the Star Market opposite Mt. Auburn Cemetary, and continue on Mt. Auburn St. past the Tufts Health Plan building on the left. Turn left on Arlington St. at the Mobil and Premier gas stations. Immediately bear to the left at the fork onto Grove St. Take the second right onto Kondazian St.

From the East via Memorial Drive: Go West on Memorial Drive towards Watertown/ Newton. At the end of Memorial Drive there is a skating rink building in front of you (part of BBN School); bear left. Get in the right lane (following sign to Watertown). Stay in the right lane and take the first right turn at the apartment buildings with the white balconies. Although there is no street sign, this is Grove Street. The road winds up the hill. Go straight through the four-way stop at the top of the hill. Take the second left onto Kondazian St.

Parking at the Institute:

We are located in a residential neighborhood. During your visit to the Institute, please park ONLY in the following areas:

On the east side of Kondazian Street (that is, on our side of the street) between Grove Street and Coolidge Hill Road;

On the south side of Crawford Street (that is, the side opposite the chain link fence around the Atrium Schools' grounds); and

On the south side of Grove Street (that is, the side closest to FIC), between Kondazian Street and the bridge over the railroad tracks across from the Tufts Health Care parking garage (but note that there is no parking directly in front of the Atrium School and Delaney Linen; there are signs indicating the no parking zone).

Please do NOT park on the north side of Crawford Street; or on the west side of Kondazian Street; these are posted "no parking" zones.

Please do NOT park in the following private lots unless directed to do so by an FIC employee:

In the 46 Kondazian Street parking lot (across from our building);

In the driveway beside or the spaces behind 55-57 Kondazian Street (outside the FIC side door); or

In the lots on the Atrium Schools' grounds, enclosed by the chain link fence along Crawford Street.
