The Family Institute of Cambridge has suspended operations. We thank all of our alumni, donors, faculty and friends for their support over these last 35 years. Many of you have asked to be informed about what Family Institute faculty are doing. Our faculty will continue their teaching and clinical work in various capacities going forward. Please feel free to contact individual faculty listed below to find out what training he/she is offering and to be updated on their future work with clients, teaching courses and providing training and consultation for agencies. For example, the Intensive Program in Family Therapyled by Liz Brenner with, Corky Becker, Caroline Marvin, Kaethe Weingarten, and Charlie Verge is continuing as well as the Program in Couple Therapy with Charlie Verge. In addition, the Family-Centered Services Project (FCSP) which provides training and organizational consultation designed to help community agencies and state organizations develop more respectful and responsive ways of interacting with families continues to pursue this work and can be located at www.family-centeredservices.org. Several of the other courses that have traditionally been offered by the Institute also may be offered independently by former FIC faculty in the future.
